Happy Again
Well if you notice the header picture and the title have changed. Thanx for the help Mark, and I am still trying to find a way to get you the pictures from my camera
Arrrrrrgggghhhhh
It's a crime to steal in any form. Rob a bank, get caught go to prison. Hold up the local 7-11 get caught go to prison. But if you use some "file sharing"software and steal some music and get caught they make you pay. I say send them to prison, they are thieves no different than the bank robber or 7-11 hold up guy or girl. Musicians make music, it is how they make a living, stealing it is stealing from them. Yea I know they make a shitload of money for playing music, but stealing it doesn't make it ok. Download but pay for it, better yet go out and buy it, it helps the musician and the local record store. Wow did I just say record, damn I am old
Frustrated
I have a bunch of new pictures on my camera but I can't get them from my computer to this one. I moved them to a Memory stick and loaded them on this computer. Pretty easy right?? Nope, then I could not load them to this blog, it said "server error'?? WTF
Then Mark Garza from Stylish Kustoms (http://www.stylishkustoms.blogspot.com/) sent me a new picture and header for my blog but it is too big and I can't get it to re size to fit my blog header. On a good note, I got my baby (my 54) home last night. Finally slept good

It Worked
I caught a break and Baby Maye is back on the road. The failure was a leak thru the back of the motor thru the main seal which caused my baby to puke up all her oil in the parking lot of Nipomo Park. Lesson learned-- No More Hot Rodding- leave that to the real hot rods not us Kustom guys. Big thanx goes out to Hapo and the rest of the Touch Of Style crew for getting her home that day and to Hapo for finding the problem and fixing her
R.I.P
Longtime Guadalupe resident Clarence Minettie died from injuries suffered in a head on car crash. Minetti was an Icon in the area and a true gentleman. He owned and operated The Far Western Restaurant until recently turning over the operation to his children
I worked as a busboy at the Far Western when I was younger. That was the first job I had growing up and it paid well back in those days. We would make 20-30$ in tips a shift, plus your hourly wage. Made enough money to buy my first car -1961 VW and ended up fixing that car up, but that is another story. Clarence was a good man, always had a smile and a hello for everyone. He did alot of good for the community and for youth recreation in Guadalupe and the surrounding area. He was a nice boss as far as I remember and treated us good. The last time I saw him at the Far Western was about a year ago sitting at the bar having a drink, tequilla and water. He said hi and bought me and my lady a drink tipped his hat and out the door he went with his wife. I never got to tell him thanx for the drink cuz I didn' know he bought it for us until I paid my tab. Thanx Clarence, for the drink and for everything you did for the area in your lifetime.

Inspiration
The legendary Kustom -Moonglow. Built in a driveway by the owner, not by some fabricator or kustom shop. The first time I saw pictures of this car I was drawn in by the color and the scalop patterns. After I studied it forever I finally noticed all the kool changes that were made. This car was what inspired me to buy my 54
Soundtrack
Listened to The Smiths all weekend, somehow it just fit in with the mood and the weather. Gloomy weather, melancholy mood. Still waiting to find out what is wrong with my car so that is not helping my mood right now. I am hoping that the weather clearing up is a sign of better things to come my way, I need a break

Images to Inspire
70's inspired Sector Nine ad. Someday I will be able to tap into the creative side of my brain and make art that inspires.
Devestation
This is a 300 TON ship that was washed up on the street during the Tsunami, washed up like it was a kids toy ship
No this is not Photoshopped, this is a real picture of the Tsunami hitting Japan. I started doing my morning reading and checked out No Future Krew's blog and it made me stop and think. I sit here and bitch because the weather has sucked lately with so much rain. Then I look at those pictures from Japan and see the devestation caused by the earthquake and Tsunami, I am greatful for what I have and I will start to appreciate everything I have.
Borrowed from No Future Krew blog (http://www.nfkfnfk.blogspot.com/), if you want to see the destruction caused by the earthquake and Tsunami go check out the blog.

Color and Power
Pale skin brings out the color of any tattoo. The detail on this chest piece is amazing
I am a big fan of Jim Parks, he does some amazing photography
R.I.P Miss Taylor
One of Hollywood's truly beautiful women passed away this morning.
You may have never seen her movies, but if you saw her face you knew who she was, a true Hollywood star
R.I.P Miss Taylor
OCC SUCKS
Bike built by Aaron Elliot of Salinas Boyz. Love the simplicity of it, frame, motor, gas tank. No theme, just a simple bad ass bike. Lets see you do that OCC
Mischief
Simple setting makes for a nice picture, not too much to take away from the image of a girl and a car
The modern Pin Up, not everyones ideal woman, but to me it is a whole lot better to look at natural women than some starved teenager with a 12 year old boys body
Check out Miss Mischief at http://www.iammischief.com/ let her know where you saw her
