Cole and My Baby

 This is from 03 or 04 at the Santa Maria Motorcycle Madness show. Did not even know Cole would be there and we were surprised to run into him. Had a blast that night at the Tap room with Cole and some of the builders that were at the show

Fast forward to January 2011-GNRS and who did we run into-King Cole. Always cool to see him he is a down to earth guy. Maybe we will see him again at some show this year. Or maybe he will work on my car like he said he would-doubt I can afford it tho

I Hate Thieves

I was doing my morning reading and came across a thread on The H.A.M.B about a guys house getting burglarized. They stole a bunch of rare Cadillac speed parts, vintage hot rod equipment, hot rod toys, vintage records and to top it off they stole a bunch of the guys wife's vintage clothes!!! Every day it seems like I am reading about someones hot rod being stolen and now this. Makes me not want to take my Chevy anywhere

Road Find

So I'm driving home yesterday and I had to stop when I spotted this on the side of the road

All stock running gear, clean interior, ALL STEEL, just the way it rolled of the line 80 frikin years ago

Seeing this beauty made me start to think. All I saw were the possibilities, chop the top beef up the frame new running gear. Basically undo all the work it took to keep it looking the way it did. 80 years is a long time for a car to exist, let alone be in this shape. For me to want to cut it up is almost a sin- ALMOST

My dad always owned suits, not sure if he still does. I owned 1 suit in my life, I last wore it for my mom's funeral. Not sure if I will ever wear it again

No matter what the movie was actually about John Wayne was basically the same guy in every one of them. I will still watch any of his movies whenever they are on. The Cowboys, McClintock, Big Jake, Hellfighter,Rio Bravo are just some of my favorites

For some reason this movie was on everytime I sat down to watch TV this weekend I swear! Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday afternoon, WTF? Well of course I watched it, it's a classic

And it even has a greaser in it, Classic movie. One of my all time favorites

I remember the first time I heard Nirvana, I thought to myself-"well sounds to me like punk finally went mainstream". People always want to put a label on things so they called it grunge, which never made sense to me because what the hell was that supposed to mean?
