 Simple patterned roof made this car stand out in a sea of shiny cars

 never been a fan of Brown paint jobs, but this Rivi wore it well

 Cant get enough of this car, the paint was flawless and reminded me of being a kid at car shows

Ive seen this car in most of its stages of kustomizing. From lowered in primer to metal work being done to finished in time for WCK. Amazing work and it won at WCK 2013. Well Sunday was relaxing at the show, walked around had a few conversations with some old friends and just enjoyed the last day gathering ideas for the build. I'm realizing that it is going to take a lot to get to where I want my car to be, until then as always  I will drive it till the wheels come off

This is my favorite right now, the chop the stance and especially the grill make this car stand out. Saturday at WCK 2013 was amazing and special for me this year. My son got up and rolled with me to the show and we spent some quality time together enjoying the show and checking out cars. The car bug has bitten him and now he wants his own Kustom---- Start saving son

Friday afternoon and evening of cruise was a blast again. Cars rolling on Broadway all day, people hanging out reserving their spot for the cruise you could feel the excitement in the air. Saw a lot of old friends and new ones and some kool rides. Seems like every year the quality goes up and the paints get shinier. The weekend was off to a great start

Pictures from Thursday night when I went to register for show and the Inn parking lot was already getting full. The weekend was just starting and the place was jumping with people, cars, booze and excitement. The show was great again this year , but this is just the beginning. Stay Tuned Kids

So the dash is done, steering wheel done. Car is clean, engine checked, we are set for West Coast Kustoms Show. I will have plenty of pictures to start posting after the show
Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones, cuz to me thats what this show is about. A good time enjoying the view, enjoying a few adult beverages and swapping fish stories
Hoping the weather improves  because right now it SUCKS

Just Around the Corner

We are down to single digit days left to WCK, I get psyched before it gets here in the months and weeks leading up to the show. The the day of the show its like the day after Christmas. You know you have to wait a whole year for it to happen again

Garage Kustom

 This is what dash looked like when I bought car, I thought it was time to make it more my own

 Layed down base coat of silver metal flake

 We decided to pattern it with some big flake instead of the whole dash, try to give it a different look

 Close up of pattern, you can see the big and little flake

 Candy Red over a silver base before any clear was shot, you can see the pattern a little better

Still needed to clear and wet sand, I will post finished dash soon, still waiting on more paint to do steering wheel. All the work was done by Tony and Anthony Guererro my club brothers.
