Somehow the Japanese always figure out how to do it right and how to do it better. American cars were not available in Japan before WWII or after and still they have plenty over there. I have heard stories of people from Japan coming to the Pomona swap and buying cars for CASH on the spot. Now they have to ship them back home and that costs big bucks.
Once they get it home they have to kustomize it and that is not cheap either. Only a few shops and a few people that know how to do it right, but that is changing too. More shops, more people are learning how to do kustom work
These guys get it, they appreciate the cars, the look, the style and they live it every day.Lowriders, kustoms, hot rods, bikes they do each and everyone of them as good if not better than it is done here in the good old U.S of A and most of them will never set foot in the U.S all they know is what they see in magazines and now through the interweb
