Here in Guadalupe we have a train yard of sorts. I have noticed more and more trains coming through that were blasted with graffitti. This train caught my eye with these images. I will be posting more that when I can

Memories

So tonight was the cruise night for the Grease and Greens car show in Guadalupe tomorrow. I hung out and cruised with my 18 yr old son all night. We don't hang out much these days, thats what made the night special. When we got home he told me-"that was cool dad, I had fun hanging out".Sometimes I forget how special he is to me, those few words reminded me. The picture of the plaque is just to remind me of the time and place, cuz we hung out with the guys from Touch of Style

So I finally made it to the Rod Powell Picnic car show in Salinas. Not a big show but plenty of quality cars were there. Just a few shots, I will post more in the next few days

Independence Celebration

Every year for what seems like forever Guadalupe has a parade to celebrate the 16th of September. I had not been to this parade for quite some time, this year I was invited to participate.

  It has been a tradition that the last entry in the parade is cars, that was started by Touch of Style car club a long time ago.

  Hapo(John Watanabe) has kept this tradition going.
